Alchemy Architecture

We are a creative and design-led studio based in Hertfordshire, with a growing reputation for crafted, thoughtful and approachable architecture.

Founded by Michael Clifton (formally of Oakbridge Homes), Alchemy Architecture is a specialist in residential design. From spatial planning and refurbishment, to extensions and new build homes.

We are passionate about design, and believe that every project is a unique opportunity to help our clients transform or combine new spaces in to their existing homes, or to create a completely new one.

The Architectural Alchemist

Michael is an Architectural Technologist and creative architectural designer with years of experience working with people to realise their dream homes. He passionately believes that every home can be transformed, or if needed rebuilt, in to something magical that will enrich and harmonise with the way you live your life.

His approach to design is based on an overwhelming curiosity, empathy and creativity that drives him to understand the needs of his clients and devise the perfect solution for their home using his natural flair.
